Last time Price took to the mound, he shredded Houston in what was something of a re-coming out game for the veteran hurler.
Price allowed just three hits in six shutout innings while striking out nine Astros. However, he also has a postseason ERA of over five, in over 20 appearances, which is no small sample.
Tonight it’s Hyun-jin Ryu for LA: he needs to be great tonight. He needs to be the savior.
Ryu was incredible in the regular season with a sub 2.00 ERA, and kept rolling in the postseason with seven shutout innings and eight strikeouts v Atlanta at home.
