KATHMANDU: Wilson Academy defeated Siddhartha Vanasthali Institute 21-13 in the girls’ section match of the 19th Wilson Hoops Inter-school Basketball Tournament here on Monday.
Prasamsha Singh Thakuri of Wilson top scored in the match with 13 points. In boys’ section, Whitefield beat Bhanubhakta 33-21 riding in Raj Purja’s eight points, while Aayush Nakarmi netted five as Sanskriti recorded a 23-9 victory over Wilson ‘B’.
A total of 43 schools are taking part in the tournament that features four categories — boys, girls, junior boys and staff.
