We all know the commentary. We’ve all signed the petitions to get Terry Fenwick the knighthood he deserves. Even he is bored of telling the story about being in the right place at the right time. He certainly wouldn’t have appeared in as many Carlsberg adverts. All those children named after him the following year – some of them became footballers themselves – Terry Vardy, Terry Noble, Terry Giroud.
