LALITPUR: Nepal Olympic Committee organised a condolence meet on Sunday to pay tribute to its former vice-president Sita Ram Maskey.
NOC President Jeevan Ram Shrestha remembered Maskey as a champion of Olympic Movement in Nepal. NOC officials and national sports associations representatives paid tribute to Maskey, who was also the former vice-president of National Sports Council and founder president of Nepal Sepak Takraw Association
The 67-year-old Maskey, who was suffering from brain haemorrhage, passed away on October 27.
