As Hull prepare to say farewell to Jarrod Bowen, they are primed to welcome Marcus Maddison from Peterborough United as his replacement. The former Gateshead winger, who has a £2.5m buyout clause, is out of contract at the end of the season. Posh had accepted a bid this month from Charlton but the player failed to agree personal terms with Lee Bowyer’s side.
Milan fans are probably furiously Googling Wigan this morning to find out just where the hell it is. The reason being that the Latics full-back Antonee Robinson is reportedly on his way to Italy’s fashion capital from the northern Mill town to complete a medical before making a £10m move. Robinson joined Everton as an 11-year-old academy player and left for Wigan last summer. He’s a USA inernational. It would certainly be one of the more intriguing deals this January.
