Fulham signed Håvard Nordtveit, but couldn’t add a second defensive signing today. The Premier League strugglers were chasing Michael Ngadeu-Ngadjui and Youssouf Sabaly, but Slavia Prague have confirmed Ngadeu is staying. Sabaly’s case is even stranger – they paid his release clause, completed a medical and then called Bordeaux to complete the move. The Ligue 1 side, in a novel move, simply didn’t answer the phone – and the deal is off!
