Good morning. Welcome to our Premier League summer transfer window deadline day blog. The window slams shut at 5pm BST and we plan to keep you up to speed with all the gossip, news and moves and clubs scramble for new recruits before the big kick off in England this weekend.
What can we expect to happen today? Crystal Palace are aiming to receive a fee above £100m for Wilfried Zaha, who is hoping to earn a move to Europe. Philippe Coutinho has attracted some interest in the Premier League but is not too keen on coming back from Barcelona. Christian Eriksen would rather depart the Premier League for Spain, which Manchester United are aware of, but is without a concrete offer to take him to LaLiga. Spurs and Real Betis have agreed a fee for Giovani Lo Celso so now it is down to agreeing personal terms before 5pm. Manchester United have accepted Internazionale’s £70m offer for Romelu Lukaku who has wandered off to Belgium. It came out of the blue on Wednesday that David Luiz is wanted by Arsenal but the Brazilian is keen on the move, even missing Chelsea training to show his eagerness.
