KATHMANDU: Times International Club defeated Tribhuvan Army Club 81-57 in the second match of the first qualifier match of Kwiks Nepal Basketball League here at the NSC covered hall on Monday.
Player-of-thematch Praneet Udumalagala of Times top scored in the match with 21 points and he also had seven each assists and rebounds and two blocks.
The two teams will now face each other on Tuesday in the third and last match of the best-of-three encounter for a place in the final. While the winners will make it to the final, the losing side will face Nepal Police Club in the second qualifier, which will also be played under best-of-three format.
On Monday, NPC defeated Golden Gate International Club 90- 65 for their second straight victory in the best-of-three eliminator. Bikash Gurung of NPC was named the player of the match for his 24 points along with eight rebounds and two each assits and steals.
