KATHMANDU: Three Star Club demolished Brigade Boys Club by a wide margin of 5-1 goals and Machhindra Club held Nepal Police Club to a goalless draw during Pulsar Martyrs Memorial ‘A’ Division League on Sunday.

TSC’s Ranjit Dhimal broke the deadlock as early as on 9th minute before doubled the tally in the 51st minute. BBCs Rajan Tiwari reduced the arrears in the 75th minute with a sublime finish at the ANFA Complex ground in Satdobato, Lalitpur.

TSC scored three more goals in the last ten of the game–Ranjat Bista, Nirajan Khadka and skipper Bikram Lama scored in the 84th 89th and 90+2 minutes respectively.

Sunil Bal was declared man of the match and bagged Rs 10,000.

Earlier, NPC dominated throughout the game but failed to convert their rare chances against MC’s rearguard. Machhindra Club’s Bikash Thulung won the match of the match for his scintillating performance.

TSC top the 14-team table with six-point from two matches with a better goal difference to arch-rival Manang Marsyangdi Club.

In tomorrow’s play, Jawalakhel Youth Club will take on Sankata Club around 11 am, and Friends Club will play against Armed Police Force Club at 2 pm kickoff, according to ANFA.
