KATHMANDU: The Nepali youth team is on Saturday leaving for India to participate in the U-19 Challenger Series.
A total of four teams, including three from India, will take part in the tournament slated for November 11-17 in Hyderabad.
After the round robin league, top two teams will fight for the title, while two others will play in third-place playoff match. Rit Gautam will lead the team that includes Lokesh Bahadur Bam, Trit Raj Joshi, Bishal Bikram KC, Khadak Bahadur Bohara, Abhishek Basnet, Hari Bahadur Chauhan, Arun Airee, Kushal Malla, Bibek Kumar Yadav, Sagar Dhakal, Tilak Raj Bhandari, Sher Malla, Akash Chand, Pratish GC and Gautam KC.
Former national team skippers Binod Das (coach) and Raju Khadka (manager) will accompany the players to Hyderabad.
