Tribhuvan Army Club registered their fourth straight victory in the Turkish Airlines Engage Empowering League, wheelchair basketball tournament, here at The British School courts today.
TAC, who had won two matches on the opening day on Saturday, added two more victories today to stay at the top of the table in nine-team wheelchair basketball competition with eight points.
After recording a 62-8 victory over Nepalgunj, TAC defeated Wheelchair Sports Association 30-8. Raju Katuwal was the top scorer in both matches as he scored 30 points in the first game and netted 14 in the second.
Bodhisatwas In Action defeated Pokhara 16-2 and returned to beat Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation Centre 29-7, while Jawalakhel Wheelchair Sports Club outplayed Chitwan 23-8 and registered a 23-14 victory over Pokhara. BIA and JWSC are tied for second with six points each.
In other matches, SIRC beat Chitwan 14-4 and WSA defeated Nepalgunj 28-8. Pokhara have four points, while WSA and SIRC are tied on two points.
