KATHMANDU: Tribhuvan Army Club held in-form Ruslan Three Star Club to a 1-1 draw and Nepal Police Club shared points with Brigade Boys Club after playing 1-1 stalemate during their Pulsar Martyr’s Memorial ‘A’ Division League in Kathmandu on Wednesday.

TAC’s George Prince Karki struck a wonderful goal via a free kick in the stoppage time of the second half to cancel out Nirajan Khadka’s strike and deny TSC all valuable points in the title race at the ANFA Complex Ground in Satdobato of Lalitpur today.

After a goalless first half, Khadka broke the deadlock in the 70th minute of the game. Later, TAC’s Sesehang Angdembe won the man of the match award and bagged a cash purse of Rs 10,000.

In another match of the day, Brigade Boys Club held departmental team Nepal Police Club to a 1-1 draw and shared points between them at the ANFA Complex Ground.

Goals from BBC’s Ritik Khadka and NPC’s Abhishek Rijal in either side of the halves ended in a draw. Later, NPC’s Hem Tamang was awarded man of the match for his scintillating performance.
