LALITPUR: Tribhuvan Army Club advanced to the quarter-finals of the Lalit Memorial U-18 Championship here at the ANFA Complex grounds on Tuesday.
Susan Lama and Bibek Chaudhary netted two goals each as TAC defeated New Road Team 4-1 to top the table with nine points. Ranjit Pudasaini scored the consolation goal for NRT, who are second with six, followed by Lumbini FC (four) and Saraswoti (three).
In another match, Lumbini played a 1-1 draw with Machhindra Club.
Manish Sedai put Machhindra ahead in the 11th minute before Mohan Thapa levelled the scored in 89th minute.
