CENTURION: Sri Lanka won the toss and put South Africa in to bat in the second one-day international on Wednesday.
Sri Lanka trails 1-0 in the five-match series and opted for an extra seam bowler on the pace-friendly SuperSport Park wicket.
That means Kasun Rajitha comes into the team to join quick bowlers Lasith Malinga and Vishwa Fernando. There’s also a change in the Sri Lankan batting lineup with Avishka Fernando brought in to open.
South Africa made one change, giving allrounder Andile Phehlukwayo a chance in place of Dwaine Pretorius.
Legspinner Imran Tahir will play for South Africa after announcing he will retire from one-day internationals following this year’s Cricket World Cup in England and Wales.
