Semi-finals lineup completed

Kathmandu, June 22

Kids Learning, Sanskriti and Mt Glory won the semi-finals berths as the winners in their respective age groups of the Toffichoo Champions Cup Inter-school Futsal Tournament here at the Samakhushi Futsal today.

Kids defeated Amar School 3-2 on penalties to win the U-11 section, while Sanskriti edged past Rajan Memorial 1-0 in the U-13 category.

Likewise, Mt Glory beat Himrashmi School 3-2 in tiebreaker of the U-15 section.

The venue winners earned berths in the mega semis.

At Grassroots Futsal Academy, Mangaldeep outplayed Bidhya Sanskar 4-0 in U-11 final, while Daffodil thrashed Meridian International School 6-0 in the U-13 category.

Daffodil won the U-15 category final with a 1-0 victory over Budhanilkantha School.

Likewise, two teams from Kaustuv and Marigold earned berths in mega semis from BG Brothers Futsal.

Marigold defeated Gateway 1-0 in the U-11 section, while Kaustuv beat Highland 2-1 in tie-breaker after a 4-4 draw in U-13 category final. Kaustuv also won the U-15 final beating Vinayak 2-0.

Rajshri Gurukul were the winners at Shantinagar Futsal.

Rajshri defeated Canvas 2-1 in the U-13 section, while they beat SSSVM 3-1 in the U-15 category final.

At the National Sports Centre, Little Angels’ defeated Rato Bangala 5-1 in the U-11 section final, while LA outplayed Rosebud 4-0 in the U-13 category to make it a double.

Likewise, St Xavier’s beat GEMS 2-0 in the U-15 section. The mega semi-finals and final matches of the tournament sponsored by Surya Nepal Pvt Ltd are scheduled for Sunday at Grassroots Futsal Academy.
