KATHMANDU: Boxer Minu Gurung has won gold for Nepal in the ongoing 13th South Asian Games, today.
Gurung secured the first-ever gold for Nepal in women’s boxing in the SAG by defeating her Indian opponent under the 54kg category.
With this win, the total gold count of Nepal has reached 46 while it stands on the second spot behind India. India has taken a huge lead on the ninth day, a total of 255 medals including 134 gold, 80 silver, and 41 bronze.
