KATHMANDU: Nepal Bodybuilding and Fitness Association is organising the 12th South Asian Bodybuilding Championship here at the Academy Hall on June 21-22. The championship features 13 weight categories — 55kg, 60kg, 65kg, 70kg, 75kg, 80kg, 85kg, 90kg and above-90kg in bodybuilding section — and 170cm and above-170cm in men’s Fitness Physique section and 165cm and above- 165cm in women’s section, informed the organisers at a press meet today.
Around 150 players from Nepal, India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Sri Lanka will take part in the championship.
According to NBFA President Rajesh Babu Shrestha, the winners of the seventh Mr Himalaya held in Kathmandu last month will represent Nepal in the championship.
