BIRATNAGAR: The Provincial government of Province 1 has launched a budget of Rs 35.93 billion for the fiscal year 2018/19, today.
In the budget, Rs 18.50 billion (51.5 per cent) has been allocated as capital expenditure while Rs 14.92 billion has been earmarked for recurrent expenditures.
The budget has prioritised hydro energy, industrial sector, education sector, health and transportation.
Likewise, Rs 1.30 billion and Rs 710 million has been allocated for development of the industrial sector and hydro energy sector, respectively.
