KATHMANDU: Queens Event Management Pvt Ltd on Monday announced the dates of the second Pokhara Premier League.
According to the organisers, the premier Twenty20 cricket tournament will be held from November 12-23 at the Pokhara Stadium. Six city-based franchise teams — Biratnagar Titans, Pokhara Paltan, Butwal Blaster, Chitwan Rhinos, Kathmandu Royals and Dhangadhi Blues — will take part in the tournament.
Home team, Pokhara Paltan had won the inaugural tournament last year.
“The tournament, which will be played at the scenic grounds in Pokhara, will be helpful in the government’s Visit Nepal campaign for domestic and international tourism,” said Queens Event Management Executive Director Chhumbi Lama.
