KATHMANDU: Nepal Electricity Authority says its industrial clients could face power supply disruptions next week as the Dhalkebar-Muzaffarpur cross-border transmission line will be shut for upgradation.
As per a notice issued by NEA on Saturday, the upgradation of the 400 kV transmission line which is being operated at 132 kV to 220 kV as planned earlier will be carried out from Monday to Thursday.
Power supply from the cross-border transmission line will be completely halted over the four days and clients being serviced through its industrial feeders from Kohalpur to Duhabi could face power cuts between 7:00pm to 9:00pm, as per the notice.
