POKHARA: Domestic team Pokhara Paltan won the inaugural match of Pokhara Premier League after defeating Biratnagar Titans by 58 runs.
Pokhara Paltan batted first after losing the toss and made 197 runs at a loss of 3 wickets. In reply, Biratnagar Titans scored 139 runs in 20 overs with only two wickets to spare.
Righ handed batsman Aasif Sheikh made 52 off 54 (6, 5-4s) for the domestic team while Ravi Inder Singh hit 44 off 27 (4-6s, 2-4s).
Meanwhile, Lalit Narayan Rajbanshi, pick of the bowlers, bagged three wickets for Pokhara Paltans while youngster Sandeep Lamichhane took 2 wickets for Biratnagar Titans.
The league will witness a face-off between Chitwan Rhinos and Butwal Blasters tomorrow.
