PM Oli Congratulates Team Nepal on ODI Win, Promises Sports Sector Development

Nepal’s win over UAE in their ODI Series received huge acclaim from the entire country.

Congratulatory wishes have been pouring in for the team that struck gold at Dubai’s ICC Oval.

On the occasion, Nepal Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli also congratulated the Nepal National Cricket Team for their record-marking achievement.

Nepal cricket team’s achievement shows that the country is being seen as an emerging power in world sports, PM Oli said on Twitter.

He also added that the government will be committed to strengthen attention in the development of the sports sector.

“Congratulations to the Nepali National Cricket Team for becoming victorious in One-Day International Cricket Series. The success achieved in the international cricket has shown Nepal as the emerging power in the world sport arena. I assure that the government will pay further attention in development of sport sector,” reads Oli’s tweet.
