KATHMANDU: Nepali cricketers Amit Shrestha and Kishor Mahato on Thursday left for Singapore to play Twenty20 matches for Visitor Team.
The two cricketers are included in the Visitor Team, formed with the players from Nepal, Malaysia and Singapore, and the team will play five T20 matches against Singapore national team, informed Nepal national team Media Manager Suraj Shrestha.
According to Shrestha, the schedules of the five-match series were yet to be finalised and the Nepali cricketers — who are called up in the national team for the 13th South Asian Games — will return to Kathmandu on September 9.
The national team camp is beginning on September 1.
