KATHMANDU: Nepal Oil Corporation has raised prices of petrol, diesel, kerosene and liquefied petroleum gas with effect from Thursday.
While price of petrol has been increased by one rupee per litre, price of diesel and kerosene has been raised by three rupees per litre each. Similarly, the price of LPG has been hiked by Rs 25 per cylinder.
With this adjustment, petrol will cost Rs 112 per litre, while diesel and kerosene will cost Rs 98 per litre each. Similarly, LPG will cost Rs 1,400 per cylinder.
However, NOC has not adjusted price of aviation turbine fuel. With this revision, NOC will incur Rs 112 million fortnightly loss, according to Birendra Goit, spokesperson for NOC.
