KATHMANDU: Nepal’s leg-spinner Sandeep Lamichanne is all set to feature for Lahore Qalandars in the Pakistan Super League T20 cricket tournament, the franchise team Qalandars announced today in twitter.
The six-team tournament will be held next year from February 14 to March 17, 2019.
Lamichhane was picked from gold category and will play alongside South African great AB De Villiers, Pakistan’s Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Hafeez, Yasir Shah, Shaheen Afridi, West Indies Carlos Brathwaite and New Zealand Corey Anderson.
However, the club did not disclose financial details of the deal.
Earlier, he also had signed for Melbourne Stars to play in Australia’s Big Bash League later this year.
