KATHMANDU: Nepali national men’s football team is scheduled to play its first match of the FIFA World Cup 2022 round two Asian qualifiers at Jaber al-Ahmad International Stadium, today.
Nepal will play against host country Kuwait at 10:45 pm (NPT) in Ardhiyah area of Kuwait City.
Nepal, who were supposed to host the first match against Kuwait, had swapped home-and-away match because of the unavailability of the stadium here at home.
After finishing the away matches, Nepal will host Kuwait on November 19.
Nepal is in Group B along with Australia, Chinese Taipei, Jordan and Kuwait.
