The six-time league champions Manang Marshyangdi Club reached the sponsorship agreement with premium whisky brand, Signature here at a programme today.
MMC President Kanchha Mukhiya Gurung and Executive Chairman of Nepal Liquors Pvt Ltd Rajesh Bir Singh Tuladhar signed the memorandum of understanding. As per the MoU, MMC will receive Rs 2.5 million and promote Signature by using its logo in kits in national and international tournaments. The name of the club will be Signature MMC from now on.
Tuladhar believed local and national talents were the future of Nepali sports and they needed to be encouraged by brands. “It is only when there is a meaningful and committed partnership that any venture succeeds in reaching its destined heights”, said Tuladhar.
“Signature and MMC share the same values for skill and commitment in delivering the best and
rising to the top of one’s chosen field. Signature believes that passion encourages people to succeed in anything they do,” said the sponsors in a release.
Defending champions Signature MMC will open this year’s Pulsar Martyrs Memorial ‘A’ Division League campaign with a match against Brigade Boys Club on Friday.
