LALITPUR: Hongwanji New Diamond Club, Nepal Police Club and Tribhuvan Army Club registered victories in the fifth KNP National Women’s Volleyball Tournament at the Nepali Army Sports Complex on Saturday.
NDA defeated Western Region 25-14, 25-22, 25-13 in the inaugural match before facing a 25-23, 25-17, 16-25, 25-22 defeat at the hands of NPC in the second match.
In another game, TAC beat Jawalakhel Volleyball Training Centre 25-6, 25-9, 25-7.
A total of six teams are taking part in the event organised by Sher Bahadur Khadka Memorial Foundation.
