KATHMANDU: Modern Indian School and Ideal Model School advanced to the finals of the basketball and football tournaments under the MIS Cup here on Thursday.
In basketball, hosts MIS defeated Kendriya Vidhyalaya 32-7, while Ideal Model beat Gyanodaya School 48-33.
In the day’s football matches, St Xavier’s School outplayed Motherland 14-0, while Ideal Model thrashed Motherland School 16-0. The finals are slated for Friday.
Likewise, Anubhav Kedia won the senior boys’ singles gold medal, while Pushpasadan School claimed the team event title.
