KATHMANDU: Nepal and Singapore shared points after rain washed out the match between the two teams at the Indian Association Ground in Singapore on Wednesday.
The second round match of the Singapore T20I Series was called off without a ball being bowled. With the no-result, Nepal ended the campaign with three points. The home side will play against table-toppers Zimbabwe in the last match of the series on Thursday.
Nepal faced five-wicket defeat against Zimbabwe before registering thumping nine-wicket victory over Singapore in the first round matches.
Skipper Paras Khadka became the first-ever captain to score a century while chasing in the match against Singapore.
In the first match of the second round, Nepal faced a 40-run defeat at the hands of Zimbabwe. The Nepali team will now leave for Muscut to take part in Oman Pentangular Series where they take on Hong Kong on October 6 and play against the Netherlands on October 7.
Nepal will face Ireland on October 9 and end the tournament with a match against hosts Oman on October 10.
All the matches will be played at Al Emarat Cricket Stadium in Muscat.
