Regal Hetauda Resort Makawanpur-XI stunned Nepal Police Club 1-0 to advance to the final of the second Bhugarbha Cement Martyrs Memorial Makawanpur Gold Cup here today.
Rejin Subba scored the solitary goal in the first semi-final match of the tournament.
After a goalless first half, Subba broke the deadlock in the 78th minute.
Subba found the back of the nets following a pass from Danu Thapa. Subba was named the man of the match and he received Rs 10,000.
On Thursday, defending champions Ruslan Three Star Club will play against Dauphins Family Club of Cameroon in another semi-final match. The final is slated for Saturday.
Top two sides will receive Rs 800,000 and Rs 400,000 respectively. The best players of the tournament will get Rs 75,000.
