KATHMANDU: The second season of the Mahila Premier League is beginning at the Grassroots Recreational Centre from Saturday.
A total of eight teams will take part in the tournament orgnised by We United and funded by European Union.
“The League is a fully women-run initiative: played by women, organised by women and refereed by women,” said We United in a release.
The league round matches will be played every Saturday from September 15 to November 3.
Top three teams will receive gift hampers from Samsara Designs, Gymkhana, Shambala Hotel, Riverside Resort, Gorkha Aesthetics among others.
