Lissanevitch siblings Ashlesha and Ivan-ho advanced to the mixed doubles final of the seventh Citizens Bank Open Tennis Tournament here today.

The Lissanevicth pair defeated Jitendra Pariyar and Prerana Koirala 6-1, 7-5 to set the final date with Santosh Khatri and Ganga Sharma.

Khatri-Sharma duo beat Pranav Khanal and Abhilasha Bista 6-3, 6-7, 10-8 in another semi-final match.

Kamal Bahadur Bhandari and Chhewang Lama made it to the above-35 men’s singles final, while Gyanendra Man Tamrakar and Gautam Lal Pradhan advanced to the final of the above-65 men’s singles.

Also, Krishna Raj Ghale, Karim Mullah, Kamal Thapa and Sushil Raj Pandey entered the semi-finals in above-55 singles.

Likewise, Kamal Thapa and Chhyamba Dhondup set the men’s above-55 doubles final date with Krishna Raj Ghale and Subarna Dhakhwa, while the pairs of Bimal Kumar Gurung and Himal Shah, Gopi Bhattarai and Dharam Lamichhane, Chandra Shahi and Dinesh Tuladhar, and Sudarshan Bista and Raju Chhetri advanced to the above-55 doubles semi-finals.

In above-45 singles, Raju Shrestha, Manoj Shah, Raju Rai and Chandra Shahi made it to the last four, while the pairs of Raju Shrestha/ Simanta Gurung and Kamal Bahadur Bhandari/Mahesh Shrestha advanced to the above-35 singles final.
