KATHMANDU: KTM Flea is all set to open at Tangalwood in Gahanapokhari, Kathmandu on October 12 to gift us an unusual, fairly new experience of a three-day-fiesta of eccentric fusion of food, fun and shopping this Dashain.
According to the organisers, the first of its kind, the flea market will bring unique businesses offering food, clothing, and handicrafts among others under an open roof in stalls with surprises for everyone.
“Our aim is to bring people together to shop, explore, try different cuisines and drinks, and experience this unique event here in Kathmandu,” Rupesh Rajbhandari, member of the organisers’ team said.
The three day fiesta will house around 20 stalls with flower pots or small garden, handicrafts, food, dessert, clothing stores (Adult and Children), jewellery, party props, cotton candy, metal works and live art including paintings, pottery.
Apart from shop-stalls, the KTM Flea Market will feature local artists, indie bands, DJs, bars and bar jugglers, photo booths and child games and play areas to everyone’s delight.
Artists such as singer Suzeena Shrestha, Rajesh Nepali and bands such as The Trio, Aaroha, The Blue Tone are expected to enthrall the shoppers at flea market from October 12 to October 14, from 10 am to 7 pm, at Tangalwood, Gahanapokhari and will pay a tribute to all creative minds and whimsical souls, informed the organisers.
