KATHMANDU: Sushma Koirala won the women’s section title of the RNGC Annual Caddie Competition here at the Royal Nepal Golf Club on Sunday.
Koirala finished first with the score of 21-over 89 and she earned Rs 10,000.
Rabina Shrestha was a distant second with the score of 102, while Tara Karki was third at 105. Shrestha and Karki received Rs 7,000 and 6,000 respectively.
Gita Tamang (113) and Parbati Subedi (117) finished in top five. Sangita Shrestha and Kabita Maharjan also made the cut which was applied after first nine holes. Nirjala Thakuri, Ranju Bakhrel and Gita Ghimire missed the cut. A total of 10 players took part in the event organised by RNGC Caddie Union. The men’s tournament will be held on Monday.
