KATHMANDU: Kantipur College of Management and Information Technology (KCMIT) won the Thames Premier League on Tuesday.

KCMIT defeated Ace Institute of Management by 58 runs in the final match.

Batting first, KCMIT posted 144-9 in 20 overs before packing Ace for a paltry 86 runs. Amit Raj Karki top scored for KCMIT with 31 runs, while Asmit Uprety of Ace took three wickets. In reply, Nischael Dutta Upadhaya scored 45 runs for Ace. Shawan Bhandari of KCMIT took a hat-trick.

Upadhaya was declared the player of the tournament and best batsman.

Shawan Bhandari of KCMIT was named the best bowler. National team member Sompal Kami handed over the prizes to the winners.
