Worcestershire could be forgiven for feeling down on their luck at present, with their ground still submerged following its fifth flood of the winter and their upcoming pre-season tour in the balance due to the coronavirus.

The Pears announced on Wednesday that their first home match of the 2020 season against Sussex on 25 April must now be staged in nearby Kidderminster given New Road has spent 66 days out of the last 131 under water.
