Chait Chhat at Janakpur
On the occasion of Chait Chhath yesterday the sun had given offerings in different districts of Tarai.
The festival was completed after giving the clearance to the sun in today morning.
The excavation method was completed during the Chhatti Mata devi of Mithalinchal, which started on Wednesday.
Chhata, Karthik and Chait are the months in which offerings are done. On Thursday, the second day of the festival, the fasting were eaten, filled with puddy, pudding, salt-free vegetables. Which is called ‘Sadana’ in the local language.
After the conspiracy, the fasters are given the food today after the final offering. On this cosmic festival, traditional dishes are offered as banana, coconut, bullock, orange, sugarcane, rice and wheat flour, cucumber, etc. materials are provided on locally-made clay racks and basket or basins.
13 dead in suicide car bomb blast
At least 13 people have been killed in a suicide car bombing in a stadium in the Helmand province of Bangladesh.
BBC quoted citing dozens of injured Afghans. According to local officials, the explosion occurred while the racing match was being held in Ghazi Muhammad Ayub Khan Stadium in capital Lusker.
“When the car with the bomb was trying to enter the stadium, the police detonated suicide after identifying the investigation”,Umer Jakak, the spokesperson of the cantonment of the Helmand province said.
The suicide attack is growing in Afghanistan. In a suicide car bomb blast in Kabul last Wednesday, 31 people were killed.

45k tuberculosis patients are added annually: National Tuberculosis Center
Today various tuberculosis programs are being organized on the occasion of Tuberculosis Day, including Nepal today the world slogans as “leadership for the world without Tuberculosis”.
According to the National Tuberculosis Center, approximately 45,000 patients of tuberculosis are added in Nepal every year. Now, about 32 thousand National Tuberculosis Center has been registered.
The age group of tuberculosis is the most productive age group i.e. 15 to 40 years. The only special facility in 45 districts till 2016 was organized by the Government and plan to take over 75 districts by 2021.
The government has provided free treatment for tuberculosis; by 2035 the government has planned to immune the disease.
About 75 percent of the tuberculosis in Nepal has lungs tuberculosis.
Stone fell on the microbus, the driver died
Stone crashed on top of a microbus on Narayanagadh-Muglin, driver killed on the spot.
According to police, the microbus ba 2 kha 5449 coming from Muglin, faced a large stone at Ikhshakamna-5.
The dead driver is not yet identified. SP Deepak Thapa, police chief of Chitwan, informed that the other passengers are safe.

Water and sanitation Minister Bina Magar said that the next year, will be announced as the National Sanitation Year.
He said that Baggati, Bishnuati and Dhobikhola will be developed as a tourist area within a few years.
Magar made the commitment that in her tenure she could make the river suitable for rafting and swimming.
In the interview of the Reporters Club, Drinking Water and Sanitation Minister, Magar said, “For this we naturally increase the flow of water and artificially.”
She said that people of Kathmandu will be able to drink drinking water of Melamchi. “At least by this Dashain, water supply of Melamchi will be supplied at the home in Kathmandu,” said Minister.
Case filed at Special Court against 4 Transportation Management Employees
The Commission for the Abuse of Authority has filed a case at special court against 4 Employee of Transportation Management including Sundar Bhattarai.
The Commission has filed a case against the Deputy Secretary Bhattarai, Branch Officer Yam Lal Dhakal, Yadav Poudel and Raju Siddai. Authorities demanded five lakhs and four thousand as the penalty.
They have been accused of issuing a paper on the issue of the driver’s permission issued by the foreign office.
They were arrested on Poush 13 on case of issuing the fake license to the Embassy of Consulate and Consular Services.
