DPL with Janashakti
Jagashakti TMT Bara has been co-sponsoring the second edition of Ruslan Dhangadhi Premiere League (DPL). The second edition of DPL is starting from on Chaitra 17 in Dhangadhi.
The agreement was signed between Dhangadhi Cricket Academy (DCA) and Jagadamba Infrastructure on Tuesday. As a co-sponsor of DPL, the amount will be provided to DCA for the amount of Rs. 10 lakhs. DCA President Subas Shahi and Jagadamba CEO Jagatraj Dhungana signed the agreement.
Dhungana said that Nepalese cricket needed to be professionalism and the DPL without having to reach this situation, because the competition that Nepal’s prestige had been engaged in the business account was in progress. Shahi said commercial companies would have a positive effect when the status is going positive.
DPL 2 is the biggest amount competition in Nepal. The competition winners will get 25 lakh and the second will get Rs. 10 lakh. As such, the third and fourth will get 2 lakh cash. TVS Apache bikes will be provided to Man of the Series.
‘Food Carnival’ in Pokhara on the occasion of New Year

3 killed in tractor crash
Three persons have been killed when a tractor accident occurred in Malarani of Gurvokot Municipality of Surkhet. Two others were injured, police said.

Nepal lost the toss, chosen to ball first

Candlelight Tribute at Maitighar – Nepal offers Prayers to Syrian Victim and Families
Nepal hosted a Candlelight march as a Tribute to the Syrian Civil War Victims and their Families yesterday at Maitighar Mandala, Kathmandu. Hundreds of Nepalese youth showed up to offer their prayings this Monday.

Sheedevi death: had drowned in bathtub in alcohol addiction; not a heart attack
The Postmortem report has strangely revealed that accidentally drowned in her hotel bathtub but not the heart attack. Police’s Holi Security Scheme: Lola throwers to be arrested
The police have brought special security plans for this year’s Holi. The Kathmandu Metropolitan Police Station Kathmandu has made a special security plan for Kathmandu for Holi.

Two killed in microbus-motorcycle collision
Two persons are killed in an accident at Maleth Chowk situated in Saptakashi Municipality -6 of Saptari on Sunday morning.
According to the incident, two persons were killed in a roadside accident on the road after the micro buses, under the Kanchanpur-Fattapur Road collided.
Hiace microbus, Ba 4 Kha 824, which was going to Kathmandu from Fatepurpur, came from behind in the microbus. The accident has hit a motorcycle by number ko 31 pa 3350.
Rajesh Kumar Sah, 25, of Tapeshwari of Belka Municipal of motorcycle driver Udaipur died and Dilip Kumar Shah, 26, of Anilwa Municipality 2 of Sunsari, has been killed in the accident.
Police said that Rajesh was on the way due to treatment for Biratnagar and Dilip to Rajbiraj.
Kanchanpur police has taken control of the vehicles in the accident.
