KATHMANDU: In keeping with its commitment to offer technologically-superior and youthful two-wheelers to customers across the world, Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest single two-wheeler manufacturer, launched two exciting products – the 125cc ‘Glamour’ motorcycle and 110cc ‘Duet’ scooter in Nepal – on Sunday.
The new Glamour comes with a new engine that features Hero’s revolutionary i3S (idle stop-start system) technology. It is powered by an air-cooled single cylinder, OHC engine producing a maximum power output of 11.1 BHP @7500 RPM and maximum torque of 11 NM @6500 RPM. The bike races from 0-60 km/h in 6.2 seconds only.
The four exciting colour schemes for the new Glamour are black-red, black-grey, black-blue and candy blazing red. The new 110cc Duet comes with a sturdy metal body, advanced performance and exciting features. The scooter is powered with an all-new BSIV Compliant Air cooled, four-stroke single cylinder OHC engine that produces more usage power and is energy efficient.
The scooter produces a maximum power output of 6 kW (8 BHP) @7500 RPM and maximum torque of 8.7 Nm @5500 RPM. It comes in candy blazing red, grace grey and panther black colour schemes.
Glamour has been priced at Rs 193,000 (ex-showroom, Kathmandu) and Duet has been priced at Rs 179,500 (ex-showroom, Kathmandu) and are available at Hero dealerships across country.
