KATHMANDU: Parbati Gurung won gold medal in the first Sailung Virtual Taekwondo National Poomsae Tournament on Friday.
The 13th South Asian Games gold medal winner, Gurung from Nepal Police Club finished first in women’s 18-30yrs age category with 7.5 points. Tripti Budhathoki won gold in women’s 31-40 age section.
Likewise, NTA’s Ayush Dhungel and Super Star’s Maya Malla claimed gold medals in U-15 age section, while Prashanta Dhamala of NTA came first in U-10 boy’s section. Vision Tamang of NTA came first in U-12 boy’s category.
A total of 200 players are taking part in the two-day tournament organised by Sailung Taekwondo Dojang. Meanwhile, the organisers felicitated chief coach Nabin Kumar Shrestha.
