KATHMANDU: Finance Minister Dr Yuba Raj Khatiwada has presented the economic survey of the current fiscal year and annual status review of public enterprises in a parliamentary meeting today.
The survey projected a 5.5 per cent economic growth rate in the current fiscal year.
Likewise, per capita income is estimated to stand at US dollar 1,000 in the current fiscal. As per the latest estimates, over 6 million people in Nepal are under absolute poverty and 8 million under multidimensional poverty line.
