LALITPUR: Striker Bimal Gharti Magar has been ruled out of the national football team for at least one year after he sustained knee injury during a training session at the ANFA Complex.
Gharti Magar sustained the injury while landing during a match on Friday and an MRI report suggested the striker would have to undergo major surgery.
According to the team source, Gharti Magar who made a comeback to the national team after almost a year has torn Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) and Medial Collateral Ligament (MCL) along with injury on Lateral Meniscus.
