Germany fell to their sixth defeat in 10 matches as Antoine Griezmann scored twice in Paris, while Miranda snatched victory for Brazil
Another unforgettable evening for Gibraltar, after earning history-making back-to-back wins following 22 straight defeats. Germany, believe it or not, have lost six of their last 10 matches. They did not play like fallen giants in Paris nor are they in crisis, but three wins in 13 matches does not make good reading for few nations. Joachim Löw will again have to face the music, though the winner – a second-half penalty – looked a little unfair on Mats Hummels. Saying that, Germany’s first-half penalty was equally soft, after Kimpembe handled a low cross by the lively Leroy Sané.
