KATHMANDU: The Faldo Series Nepal Championship is beginning here at the Gokarna Golf Club on Monday.
A total of 28 junior golfers will take part in the 54-hole tournament that features three categories — U-21, U-17 and girls, informed the hosts Gokarna Forest Resort in a release on Sunday.
The winners of all three sections will earn tickets to Vietnam to participate in the Faldo Series Asia Grand Final to be held at the Laguna Lang Golf Club in March.
The tournament, initiated by Nepal Golf Association in 2012, is an annual event.
