In the attempt to make the world record, thousands of people gathered together in Tudikhel on Saturday and have devoted Lord Gautam Buddha’s “Dhamapad”.
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and Maoist chairman Prachand were participating in the program.
According to former Tourism Minister Anand Pokharel, 75 thousand were present with official passes. He added, around 1 lakhs and 50 thousands are there to have devoted without pass.
It is Guinness Buddha of the World Record, which is still to be announced.
The record is now in the name of India, ‘Many people gather together and read together’. India’s Art of Living Foundation had recorded this record by raising poems by keeping 46 thousand 660 people.
In the program, Prime Minister Oli urged the world community not to confuse the truth that Buddha was born in Lumbini, Nepal. He still urged all the governments, countries and universities of the world not to be confused, saying that some educational institutions still have to make confusion about the birth of Buddha.
Prime Minister Oli has expressed hope that leaving the way to violence, leaving bombs to the choice and spreading unrest and terror, contribute to the work of making Nepal prosperous.
