KATHMANDU: Ganeshman Singh Foundation on Sunday signed the sponsorship agreements with five different corporate houses for the Ganeshman Singh Memorial National boxing Tournament.
As per the deals, Jagadamba Motors will provide the organisers with a motorcycle and scooter worth Rs 600,000, while Mitsubishi and Reebok will contribute Rs 500,000 each in cash and kind for the tournament.
Likewise, Brij Cement and Laxmi Bank will contribute Rs 300,000 each. The National Sports Council has already allocated five million rupees for the tournament.
The tournament is slated forFebruary 5-9 at Basantapur. A total of 140 players from 10 teams — seven provinces and three departmental sides — will take part in the tournament.
