ANFA strikes cooperation deal with QFA

KATHMANDU: The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) and the Qatar Football Association (QFA) have signed a five-year cooperation agreement today at the QFA head office in Doha, Qatar.

The agreement signed by Karma Tsering Sherpa, President of All Nepal Football Association, and Hamad Bin Khalifa Bin Ahmed Al-Tani, President of the Qatar Football Association is expected to help the two countries develop sports and take bilateral relations to a new level, according to ANFA officials.

Under the agreement, the parties will give effect to their collaboration and cooperation through management and officials, technical experts, coaches, referees and players. Both associations will also establish an exchange program whereby QFA personnel will be provided access to the expertise, courses and facilities of ANFA and vice versa.

The exchanges will include: general management; management; marketing; promotional activity; sports facilities; study and research; technical and conditioning coaching referees; football management and technical direction; game development and talented player development; women’s football; youth football; futsal; sports science, referring to football; sports medicine, referring to football ; research on football matters; rules and regulations.

“We are proud to collaborate with Qatar Football Association and I am very sure this will be a fruitful partnership,” ANFA President Sherpa said after signing the agreement.
