KATHMANDU: Nepal has entered quarter-final in the men’s category of badminton in the 2018 Asian Games that kicked-off in Indonesia on Saturday.
Defeating Pakistan 3-1 in today’s group match, Nepal saved a quarter final spot, said Main Coach of Badminton, Sudeep Yonjan.
Ratnajit Tamang, Dipesh Dhami, Bikas Shrestha and Nabin Shrestha are representing Nepal in Badminton matches in Indonesia.
However, Nepal was defeated by Maldives in 3-2 sets in the group match under women’s team event.
