LALITPUR: Nepal Olympic Committee on Sunday announced the Nepali Sports Digital Archive Project.
The NOC had signed a memorandum of understanding with Nepal Olympic Museum in March for the project which will be funded by the International Olympic Committee under its Olympic Solidarity Programme.
“The Nepal Olympic Museum has been collecting the details of Nepali Sports for a long time and we will now try to save those data on digital archive for the benefit of coming generation,” said NOC President Jeevan Ram Shrestha at a press meet.
The digital archive will have data about the beginning of various sports in Nepal, sports Acts, history of NOC and performance of Nepali athletes in international participations along with pictures and videos.
